Read Wonderful Story About A Lesson of Tit for Tat
The fox and the camel were excellent thieves as well as extremely good friends. The two pals made the decision to cross the river one day so that they could go to a nearby farm and steal food there.
Because the little fox was unable to swim, the camel told his companion to get on his back and he would swim over the river.
The powerful camel then swam over the river to the opposite side as the fox got upon its back.
The camel and the fox proceeded to the farm after crossing the river. When they at last got to the farm, the camel dug up some delicious fresh veggies while the fox caught herself a fowl.
After hastily devouring her chicken, the greedy fox told her companion the camel, “When I finish eating, I am used to singing,”
The camel told them not to sing yet as he savoured his feast of vegetables. “I’m still eating, and if you sing, the farmer will hear you,” she said. You can sing as we travel back to our house after I complete my dinner.
The fox, however, paid no attention to her friend and started singing loudly. The farmer emerged from his house wielding a big stick as soon as he heard this song.
The enraged farmer yelled, “I’ll teach you to steal from me!”
The fox was so little and quick that she was able to escape the farmer. However, because of his slowness and the fact that he was still in the middle of eating dinner, the unlucky camel failed to notice the farmer until it was too late.
The camel took numerous strikes to the back and legs from the enraged farmer’s huge stick before he was eventually able to flee.
The camel was infuriated at his friend the fox and his bones hurt as he arrived to the river.
Why would you sing knowing the farmer would hear you and that I was still eating my dinner? enquired the camel.
The fox answered matter-of-factly, “Because it is my custom.” Now allow me to ascend onto your back so that we can cross the river and go back to our house.
The camel then slowly down the bank of the river into the water and started to swim to the other side while carrying the fox on his back.
The fox begged him, “Please don’t take a bath.” I will drown if you take a bath because I am unable to swim.
I’m really sorry, but I always take a bath after I eat, the camel apologised. I always do that.
And with that, the camel lowered his back into the deep water till the fox was unable to maintain her hold on him and started to flounder around in the swift river.
The fox yelled in desperation, “Help me!” I’m going under, I’m going under!
Are you sorry that you were so self-centered and caused the farmer to beat me, the camel questioned the fox?
“Yes, yes, I sincerely apologise!” Just before her head once more sank below the water’s surface, the fox cried.
The camel lifted the baby fox out of the water and put her on his back since he did not have the heart to see his friend perish in the river. The camel then finished swimming over the river, ascended the bank, and stepped into the warm grass.
In recognition of her extremely self-centered behavior, the fox apologized to her buddy and promised to keep her trust for all time.
And while I apologise for having to impart a lesson on you today, tit for tat is frequently the case in life.
Then, as the sun dried their damp fur, the two buddies started to giggle and roll around in the warm grass. That day, the fox had picked up some important knowledge.
She had discovered that it was bad to betray a friend and that if you wrong someone, they may possibly wrong you in return. Yes, it was a lesson in paying it forward.
